Which edition? Free, Pro Std ($15), Pro Personal ($25), Pro Site
($199), or Pro Enterprise ($899)?

https://www.clipboardfusion.com/Compare/

At the highest prices, I would expect they have all the features of
Clipmate, and a LOT more.

https://www.clipboardfusion.com/Screenshots/

Unless I missed the feature, I saw no hierarchical (tree) view of clips.
For example, I have "safes" that are folders where I permanently store
clips to use later, and each safe is a grouping of related clips. I can
have safes regarding clips on e-mail, work, computer, security, ebay,
and so on. Nothing in them gets flushed; i.e., their contents are
protected from purging or expiration.

What I see for the screenshot showing clips in ClipboardFusion is a flat
tree listing the clips. I can do that in the Classic view in Clipmate.
I prefer the Explorer view which shows a hiearchical tree.

Pro Std. I don't do anything special. I do like to save clips in its
Pinned folder.

<rest of quoted content was snipped due to top-posting by KenW>

Does ClipFusion let you create subfolders under the Pinned folder, so
you could group clips by topic or category? I don't want all my saved,
or pinned, clips mashed together into one big long flat list. For the
same reason the file system has folders, and Explorer shows them, is why
I like folders in Clipmate for organization.

Under Windows 10, so is mine.

It does seem to lock up itself and Explorer when I try to paste as
plain text a clip that was saved from HTML. I haven't yet isolated
the specific issue. It could even be my choice of hotkey:
Win+Ctrl+Shift+V.

Windows 11 here.

I hadn't tried that before, but I just did.No problem.

I don't know, but that doesn't seem likely to me.
