Reminds me of the camping debris left behind after festivals. Isn't someone going to make a unique garbage/recycling collection space vehicle? heck remember those arcade games? a few hundred people who grew up & got high scores could...etc

There's a cleanup spacecraft out there called
Elsa-d and it uses magnetism , but not huge fields controlled from the earth but magnetism generated within the craft. The trouble is the way it works is to dock with space junk sending it into an orbit where it burns up . The trouble is it's only good for the future since the space junk must having a special docking plate.

There is an article in 'Buisness Insider' about the chance of earthlings NOT being able to prevent an asteroid hitting earth much higher than satellite debris burning up on entry into atmosphere.

And while I'm at my pc eating dairylee cheese spread on toast (oops dropped a few crumbs) this article said there was.... I'll let you read it for yourself..

Yeah, to divert some of the bigger asteroids will take what Arthur C Clarke called a "sufficiently advanced technology"
I read somewhere where a 500 mile diameter asteroid would be completely impossible to do anything about , that it would remelt the earth's crust, which would be pretty bad on humanity's infrastructure.
I thought it would be funny if the earth were destroyed by an asteroid named "Pansy."

That article made front page news here. There was lots more in that newspaper too, lots of pretty looking young ladies, domestic animal stories, a bit of interesting news. As you know I'm not a journalist, I'm a graphic designer & in a small way opposed to new technology that seems to have taken so many employment opportunities away.
