I have requirement to rewrite a single recipient address. Not just aliasing, because the email To: lines has to be changed. I.e.,

From helpme@mylocain.domain to help@real.domain.

Aliasing doesn't working, because the real address has to be the envelope of the email. Either in the To: or Cc: line in the email. Thanks. - Mark

Do you want to change mail coming into your system or mail going out?

See cf/README:

virtusertable A domain-specific form of aliasing, allowing multiple
virtual domains to be hosted on one machine.

genericstable This feature will cause unqualified addresses (i.e., without
a domain) and addresses with a domain listed in class {G}
to be looked up in a map and turned into another ("generic")
form, which can change both the domain name and the user name.

Note: please read the netiquette before posting. I will almost never
reply to top-postings which include a full copy of the previous
article(s) at the end because it's annoying, shows that the poster
is too lazy to trim his article, and it's wasting the time of all readers.

Email going out. Although now I'm not even sure that will help. Spiceworks is giving me weird advice. I just complained again that it didn't make sense.
