Did somebody of you tried NixOS with the latest Calamares Installer?
If i try to install it with KDE Desktop Environment i get thrown back into
a shell instead of an Xorg Session.

Nop none. Yes it also happens on a different GPU. I have tried it with the
RTX 3070 TI and RTX 2060 Super. I just get thrown into the shell like if i
selected the shell install in the calamares installer.

Those are both (fairly recent) Nvidia GPUs that use the same drivers, so
that doesn't really tell us much.

Did you check for errors in /var/log/Xorg.0.log too? (Or whatever your
distro's equivalent is.)

My guess is that those cards are not supported by the version of the
Nvidia driver shipped with that distro. You might need a newer driver,
whether it's the open source nouveau driver or the proprietary one from
Nvidia. Or maybe the correct driver just isn't installed properly.

In my experience, that's the most common cause of the symptoms you've
described.
