15% global share, high 30’s US. So says the expert, Tim Cook.

The point is, you can't have a "monopoly" on your own products. That's
retarded.

Much like the moron currently running Epic.

A "monopoly" is when you have 95+% share in the relevant market.

Apple has - at best - 50% of the U.S. phone market and 25% global share.
That is NOT a "monopoly".

We are days away from the judge laughing this absurd case out of court.
The child "running" Epic is about to learn an obvious lesson.

GM has a "monopoly" on Cadillacs? McDonald's has a "monopoly" on Big
Macs? Samsung has a "monopoly" on Galaxy phones? Harley-Davidson has a
"monopoly" on Sportsters?

No. Of course not. That's not how it works.

You can get a car fixed anywhere and the dealers sell OEM parts to all comers. Apple will not sell parts to just anybody. Third party suppliers are permitted to make car parts. Apple has the App Store as the only iPhone software and in App purchase source. It's about more than market share, dumbass. And please don't come back with "it's not just Apple".

Way under your estimates based on the erroneous "feature phone" narrative.

But it's not just Apple.

And your complaints about Xbox and Playstation have been curiously muted.

Did I say it's just Apple? The list of similar offending company policies is a long one that does not justify Apple's behavior.

Oh come on Liarboy. You used that "feature phone" argument to inflate Apple's smartphone market share.

I'm sorry, but I don't see anything wrong with what Apple has done.

Apple created the iPhone and the app store for it, and doing so has
created incredible value for millions of developers.

No one is forced to create an app for the iPhone and there is a
competing platform that you've just been arguing has a much larger
market share.

I don't see anything wrong with what Sony's doing with Playstation, or
Microsoft with Xbox, either.

You, July 8, 2015

"You continue to conflate phones and smartphones, Liar-boy. The fact is
that every person who buys an iPhone is buying it for is use AS A
SMARTPHONE. A large fraction of Android sales are made to people who
just want the next feature phone."

You claim that Android is just a feature phone. There were other instances.

That is a deliberately lie on your part.

Or do you not know what "large fraction" means...
