Theoretical physics of course is well advised by
the ubiquitous success of mathematics in mathematical physics,
as of the formalism of mathematical logic of mathematics,
as with regards to probability theory and the stochastic,
for things like Galileo's most useful applied physics,
seeing what came and went.

In "Out of My Later Years", Einstein writes a
second mass/energy equivalency function, it's
about the particulars of the linear and rotational,
the kinetic and kinematic.

It's part of Einstein's formulation of the classical
laws, the our familiar classical laws of Newton and Galileo.

So, Einstein definitely made a place for the FitzGerald
in the Lorentz, so that space-contraction is a real thing,
and that Relativity is sort of unified a theory with
GR first and then SR just "spacial" (local),
so Einstein is Einstein and it results that
whatever results that mass/energy equivalency
and the L-principle for light's velocity,
falls out as "what theory".
