I have two sound cards:

Tumbleweed
==========
# arecord -l
**** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices ****
card 0: SB [HDA ATI SB], device 0: VT2020 Analog [VT2020 Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: SB [HDA ATI SB], device 2: VT2020 Alt Analog [VT2020 Alt Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 2: II [Xonar STX II], device 0: Multichannel [Multichannel]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 2: II [Xonar STX II], device 1: Digital [Digital]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 3: CARD [XONAR SOUND CARD], device 0: USB Audio [USB Audio]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

Leap-15.5
==========
# arecord -l
**** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices ****
card 0: II [Xonar STX II], device 0: Multichannel [Multichannel]
Subdevices: 0/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: II [Xonar STX II], device 1: Digital [Digital]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: SB [HDA ATI SB], device 0: VT2020 Analog [VT2020 Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: SB [HDA ATI SB], device 2: VT2020 Alt Analog [VT2020 Alt Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 3: CARD [XONAR SOUND CARD], device 0: USB Audio [USB Audio]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

Except for the (pecking?) order they seem identical, but the Pulse Audio
Volume gui in Leap only shows the 'XONAR SOUND CARD'

How would I get it to show both cards?

Question #2

How can I get (using both cards if that's necessary and feasible)
simultaneous output into speaker and headphones but preferably with
separarate volume controls? There are volume controls on the headphones
as well as on the speakers but I would rather not have to monkey with those.
