Mystic supports SSL (TLS 1.2) when sending e-mail. I don't know what Google's change is exactly (and I haven't tested it) so I cannot comment more. Some people have told me they are using smtp2go.com for their SMTP with Mystic.

What you can do if you are logged in locally is /U which will allow you to type in a text file to load into the editor so you can load it that way. If you create 'newuser.txt' in your root Mystic directory you can /U and type "newuser.
