It rained overnight and that brought worms and grubs to the surface. I
snapped a pic of this brown thrasher pecking around out back:

Nice pic. Another bird that I used to see in the yard but don't now.
Been years since I've seen one, in fact. The decline in songbird
populations around here is sad.
