I'm trying to develop some ideas for a new experiment.

Towards that, I have done the following steps in XG:

setup a money game opening position at cube decision
start playing from position

before rolling, player1 doubles, player2 beavers, player1
raccoons, player2 takes and owns cube at 8

before player1 rolls, average equity for position = +0.112
if player1 will roll 31, his equity will be = +0.234

at this point cube analysis panel shows 52.89% win
cubeless equity N = +0.085, D = +0.162
cubeful equity N = +0.123, D/B = -0.346 (-0.469)
best choice ND/B

after player1 rolls 31
average equity for position becomes = -0.088
equity for 31 becomes = +0.007

summary panel shows total equity = -0.469, luck = +0.010
after playing 31 as best move 8/5 6/5 = +0.008
summary panel shows same the numbers

=========================

before player2 rolls, average equity for position = -0.007
if player2 will roll 65, his equity will be = +0.007

at this point cube analysis panel shows 44.58% win
cubeless equity N = -0.165, D = -0.330
cubeful equity N = -0.008, D/B = -1.441 (-1.433)
best choice NRD/B

after player2 rolls 65 (with the same equity as player1's 31)
average equity for position becomes = -0.005
equity for 65 becomes = +0.011

summary panel shows total equity = -0.469, luck = -0.005
after playing 65 as best move 24/13 = +0.013
summary panel shows same the numbers

all analysis numbers are at 3-ply

=========================

Can someone help me understand how the above
numbers transition and/or relate to one another?
(doing it for the sake of RGB of course, since in return
I may be able contribute something back to RGB... ;)

What's the matter in-dog-trained sick puppies...?

Did you "pack" all get dizzy and disoriented trying
to follow what the "garbage producer" is doing...?

Okay, okay, don't help me but take it as a personal
challenge to see if you can do it, as though it were
not me but somewhone you worshipped asked the
question... Can you...!? ;)

I think this is a good one. I don't want to let go of it
without extracting the most enjoyment out of it... ;)

For all the use you guys make of XG and posting all
those rollouts, etc. haven't anyone of you ever felt a
need to manually audit, (using pencil and paper like
Walt;), all that high pile of numbers that it spits out?

Do you all just eat up whatever is slopped in your dish?

Come on bozos, I need some math entertainment... :)

I wonder if you are having difficulty with figuring out
where to start...? Let me help you get started. ;)

Here are some random rolls. How they are played
shouldn't make a difference and don't at first. The
third column are the dice rolls, the fourth column
are the equities of the corresponding dice rolls.

1 Player1 23 +0.014 +0.0140 +0.014
2 Player2 61 -0.091 +0.0455 +0.045
3 Player1 52 -0.071 -0.0237 -0.024
4 Player2 65 +0.012 -0.0030 -0.003
5 Player1 31 -0.014 -0.0028 -0.003
6 Player2 41 +0.115 -0.0192 -0.019
7 Player1 54 +0.137 +0.0196 +0.020
8 Player2 22 -0.083 +0.0104 +0.010

The last column is the "luck equity per move" that
XG displays in its analysis summary panel. Didn't
you guys ever pay attention to those numbers...?

I saved the fifth column for the punch line. Those
are each individual dice roll's equity divided by the
number of rolls (by both players) after each move,
calculated to four decimal accuracy, (before XG
rounds to three. ;)

Take for example, line 3: -0.071 / 3 = -0.0237, line 6:
0.115 / 6 -0.0192 (negative for Player2). Ohh noo! :(

Ohh yess! :) This is how XG starts out calculating the
"luck rate per move" for you... :))

But don't stop there at only eight rolls. Keep rolling
to see what else you may discover and let me/us
all know... ;)
