I would take advantage of the opportunity to safely escape the anchor checkers and plan to plant them on the 16 point until the back checker can reach them. The back checker isn't in much trouble at the moment. I'd point on O's back checker to slow its escape and hope to blitz with the 10 available checkers plus 2 more coming from the midpoint. The race gave me pause with breaking the anchor, but we'll only be down 20 after the play.
