And if they don't, they get FIRED. That cancel-culture
item started at least a decade ago.

In what is now dripping jungle in South/Central America
there used to be a number of large, powerful, well-
advanced cultures. Did they die of war ? Nope. Did
they die of plague ? Nope. There were huge decades-
long droughts. Their plantations dried up and blew
away - and so did the civilizations. Not exactly a
lot of Chevy Suburbans back then - and CO2 was lower.

But if California dries up NOW, if New Orleans gets
some heavy rain ... it's A GLOBAL-WARMING CATASTROPHE !!!

NO IT ISN'T ! It's just the normal regional variations
that have been going on for millions of years. Human
experience goes back only about 100 years - so we
think THAT was "normal".

GW is about 10% real and 90% POLITICS - far leftist
politics aimed at crippling/destroying that horrible
western civ for the most part.

Interesting how they never consider what comes AFTER
western civ ... it ain't gonna be nice, not at all.
You will have the right to say/think/do/dream/worship
what your warlord/conqueror/emperor SAYS - or ELSE.

That is why the Paris Climate Agreement
was signed EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. Because
they are all "far leftist".

But Trump pulled the US out because
HE knows better because HE is a professional
climatologist and HE knows better than everyone
else.

Including his own Pentagon......

Climate change threatens a majority of
mission-critical military bases, Pentagon
report says
January 18 2019

More than two-thirds of the militarys
operationally critical installations are
threatened by climate change, according
to a new DoD report.

The January 2019 report, "Report on
Effects of a Changing Climate to the
Department of Defense, was submitted
to Congress Thursday without an official
announcement of the report or a public
release. Several environmental organizations
made the report publicly available early
Friday.

In its assessment of those 79 installations,
which included Army, Air Force and Navy
installations and notably no Marine Corps
bases the services reported that 53 of the
79 faced current threats from flooding; 43 of
the 79 face current threats from drought and
36 of the 79 faced current threats from
wildfires.

"The effects of a changing climate are a
national security issue with potential
impacts to Department of Defense missions,
operational plans, and installations,"
the report found.

They didn't die. Mayans are still running around. Their culture
collapsed from deforestation. Their city culture had a real thing
for lime; to make lime you heat limestone over burning trees.
They didn't run out of limestone, but they ran out of trees. That
increased erosion and other problems so the nearby farms failed.
The cities lacked concentrated food sources, so they had to
disperse throughout the countryside until the small scatterred
farms could grow enough food. But not the concentration that
would support a city and all of a city's nonfarning residents.

For a few thousand years.

I don't care if it's true or no. I like the reforms to fight
global change. For one thing I don't like the taste of car
exhaust as I bicycle. It's not just sour, it's sulphur sour. We
no longer let people smoke in resturaunts letting one shithead
ruin dinner for everyone else. But you can still idle your car
just outside the doors.

But most important is if we stop burning oil, we longer have to
pretend it's a chore to ship our children off to war in major
land wars in Asia. We no longer have to give a shit what israelis
and arabs are bitching about this morning.

Russia gets to blackmail Germany and rest of Europe. Make Uncle
Vlad angry and he cuts off the gas and you freeze. Europe going
green means Russia can't jerk them around.

I know why KSA and Iran detest each other. But I don't care.
That's their crap. But the USA is KSA's whore because that's the
price of keeping the oil flowing. Green reforms mean we don't
have to keep the oil flowing. We could walk away. No more
americans killed for KSA.

A world no longer burning oil is a profoundly more peaceful and
tasty world regardless of what the weather is. Everyone except
south Asia will benefit. South Asia can return to its traditional
interminable and inconsequential bloodlettings. That's what seems
to make them happiest.

California is what comes AFTER your 'western civ[ilisation].
