The local press agency in Azerbaijan reports that Ayaz Mutalibov,
born May 12th 1938,died March 27th 2022.
He was prime minister,Communist Party chief (succeeding Abdulrahman
Vezirov,who died in January),and president of Azerbaijan as the
Soviet Union dissolved.
