Dale Robert Worsfold Feb. 5, 1954 Grace Hospital - Jan. 6, 2022 "If I Am Anything, It Is Because Of GOD'S Grace."

He graduated from North Surrey Sec. School in 1971. I knew him from Kelly's Pub and Brewster's. He had long ago given up drinking having switched to tea. He liked karaoke and supposedly knew a thousand songs. The Memorial book had several pictures of him at Kelly's singing including a duet with the Aboriginal waitress. The Memorial was April 1 at Valleyview on 72 Ave. at 2 PM. 80 ppl attended on pretty short notice several mentioned on FB they would attend if not out of town or working. He alluded to a former rowdy life to me and the love of his life was the red headed Rose who died 4 years after they met in 2013. He gave Bibles to ppl in the pub on their birthdays and I know one long haired young metal head took an interest in it. He sent postcards to military folk 600 last Dec. he said. One of the Memorial photos showed him with a red shirt that said, I support the troops. He travelled a fair bit lived in Watson Lake, Yukon 1984-1993 and 1995 and 2000-2001 and 2003-2009 by fluke one of my relatives worked there as a waitress and they knew each other. I have been there it is nice in the summer saw the airshow. Pastor Kevin Cavanaugh of Blaine, Wash. gave a good send off passionate and the Christian music was nice. I didn't recognize anyone who attended. 40 ppl went to the actual internment of his urn alongside his parents. Only 1 person went to my Dad's internment myself which I regret doing. The slideshow was good got a hoot of his parents old refrigerator with the wooden handle on the right. Dale lost his hair quick. In lieu of flowers donations are asked for Hope Bay Bible Camp he volunteered there from 1968-1972 and paid later in life for young relatives to attend.
