Rod, James is of the JW cult. They do not believe that Jesus is God.

They claim to be witnesses of “Jehovah”, which according to them is only
to be bound in the days before Christ. In all the books of the OT. Yet they
now teach to supposedly follow Jesus, his ways. While acknowledging that he
is dead and not resurrected. It is a hodge podge of a belief system that is
apt to do a 180 deg shift at any time, yet proclaim that they were always
right.

Well, that sounds good and all, but it is like a person can be a RC and a
believer, but to follow false doctrines? Nope, I have helped lead people to
the Lord who were life long RC’s. And a week or so later they would ask me
what I thought about them staying in that church. I would tell them it was
between them and the Lord. Later on they would tell me that from reading the
scriptures and seeing the conflict between the word of God that the RCC
Doctrines they couldn’t stay. They still maintained their relationships
with others in that church although some would shun them becasuse of their
new found Faith in the Lord. I say that because in the JW world it is twice
as bad, as there even your own family will publicly shame you for believe in
Jesus.

That is why the gift of Love is so important. That is why new believers need
to be discipled and grounded in the Faith as well as putting God first. It is
dependent on a person no doing works, but living and trusting in God,
listening to Him speak and guide us first and foremost.

Dawn, I have a working relationship with My God. He is willing to reveal
himself to anyone who is open to one, for that reason he paid for the sins of
all mankind. So why then would he withhold any good things from us.

I wonder if the truth function in religion is more like democracy? What
ever the biggest group says, is the truth (TM). Then you can of course
always have dissenters, but just like in a democracy they are always
marginalized and never get much attention.
