Well, they sort of work - IF they get all Big Brother
about it. Oz and NZ did pretty well with major,
prolonged lockdowns - though it's probably put a fatal
hit on their economies.

The thing is THERE'S NOTHING ELSE TO DO with Omicron at
the moment - and leaders have to be seen "doing something".

So, 10% science, 90% politics.

This MAY buy a little time to get out the boosters,
and HAS prompted the major pharmas to start on
updated vaccines - damned good idea.

So, at best, the new lockdowns BUY A LITTLE TIME.
Not a "fix" by any means, just a little more time.

Now go get your vax - I'd suggest rectal injection
in your case ...
