Interesting, since any time I've gone to BK and ordered fries, I
always get an onion ring in there as well. ANd when I order onion
rings, I ALWAYS get two or three fries in there. I don't know if they
fry them together or what, but it never fails.

I presume they're fried in the same fryer. And stored in the same
holding bin. This allows cross-over very easily. And the employees
aren't going to be paid enough to care.
