California doesn't have gerrymanderring, and if it did, it would

Nunes is a coward, a quitter and a loser. He lost *all* of those defamation
suits he brought against people mocking him, e.g. the person who posted on
Twitter as "Devin Nunes' cow." The point of that account was to mock Nunes for
claiming to be a "dairy farmer." Nunes has never farmed. He owns a share of a
dairy farm in Iowa. He has never worked a single day on the farm. He is not a
farmer.

We're doing or done redistricting, but that's necessary when the
population shifts to keep each district at the same population.
In Arizona and California redistricting is by mostly nonpartisan
commissions rather than the state legislature. Wild district
boundaries of gerrymanderring should not occur.

I don't know what happens to Fresno. It could be his voters moved
away or other voters moved in. Or even Fresno realised what a
jerk he is.

True. But California's redistricting is done on a non-partisan basis.

A fake cow who said true things about Nunes. He is not and never was a farmer.
He owns a stake in a dairy farm in another state. He has never worked on a
farm in his life.

Republicans have no power in California state government. It
would be democrats doing it.

California and Arizona passed it by direct democracy initiatives.
California legislators are used to be handed their ass and took
it in stride. Arizona legislators made a big stink and got their
asses handed to them again.

I don't details of Arizona, but the California redistricting is
done under public scrutiny. And commission members have little
direct benefit.

Once the districts are drawn, about a third will have republican
majorities, so they can do the usual republican bullshit within
those districts, but the districts themselves lack intricate
tendrils.

The commission has been criticized by some politicians because "many
safe seats in the Legislature could suddenly become competitive."

Over the previous 5 elections before the commission was established, 1
seat changed parties in 255 opportunities.
