a couple years for things to cool down and

The USA doesn't have to rule the world, but
it doesn't have to shoot itself in the groin
either. There's a good, sane, middle ground
in all this.

Trump doesn't have the ambition, since he already accomplished what he
wanted: to set the agenda for next century. Trump as king maker is his next
goal.

Agreed.
Hey, I'll freely admit that during the 2016 election I felt the same
about Hillary Clinton. So "anyone but Clinton" was my mindset and I
held my nose and voted Trump.

I find it difficult to watch his speeches and rallys not because of
what he says, mostly, but the way in which he says it. Horrible
vocabulary and I really don't agree with his childish attacks (ie;
lock her up).
However I have no doubt that Trump loves the USA and puts the
country and it's people first. That is refreshing to find in a
politician.

He has to tone down the 5th grade attacks on his opponents.

If he runs again in 2024, he has a trove of FACTUAL DATA, showing
how Biden and the Democrats have destroyed the country.
He needs to stick to those facts because inflation, poor foreign
policy and such will resonate with voters other than his base.

candidates like they protected Biden hiding in his basement.
People are wise to the MSM, big tech and so forth.

We need to be a leader with peace through strength but at the same
time not allow other countries to not pay their fair share into
programs like NATO and harm us with unfair trade policies.

We need to either help formalize and legitimize corrupt
organizations like WHO and Paris Climate Talks or abandon them.

One thing is clear and that is so far everything Biden and the
Marxist left have done has hurt this country and the people and has
weakened our position as a world leader and power.

Sometimes, you just need a dick to get rid of the problems. To give you
an example, teaching in the North Shore of Montreal usually means that
you're surrounded by people who will endlessly whine about everything
but who won't come up with any kind of solutions because every possible
resolution would trample on someone's feet. Enter silverslimer, who
doesn't mind being a dick, to solve the problems by pointing out who the
weakest link is regardless of how that person feels. Trump is that dick

While I grew up in upstate NY not NYC 'abrasive' was the default setting
so his style didn't bother me although I didn't think it was
professional. I rather have that than Turtle McConnell type. Republicans

I, for one, don't see the point of having some polite and agreeable in
office if he'll be taking bribes and screwing the population the way the
Liberal party here in Canada constantly does. Usually, when it becomes
clear that the Liberals here have decimated the economy, the citizens
vote a Conservative government and hope that it can clean up the mess.
However, doing so takes a decade or more and they never stick around for
long because people insist on getting free goodies. As such, they vote
in the same corrupt people that decimated the economy in the first...
who are polite and agreeable.

Which is why China is taking steps to isolate India.
