I just beat XG 11-0 in an 11 pointer but my PR was 12.01 which is much worse than my average. I think part of the issue was that after many blunders initially I kind of lost morale and was discouraged.
That's the good thing about OTB play against humans.
When playing a human, I would have no idea how well I played until the match was over so I wouldn't be discouraged.
After each game, I anticipate my PR performance for that game and
I'm completely hopeless at guessing. I might think I played great and be rated as a beginner or think that I blundered all the time but be rated World Champ.
