I have just finished playing an 11-pointer against XG and obtained
a 2.9 PR.
So far this is just a brag -- nothing humble yet.
This consisted of one game which I lost 12-0 by being backgammoned
on a 4 cube.
So far, this is pseudo-humble. Everyone knows about the huge luck factor
in bg so I might still just be boasting emptily about my skill.

However, the interesting (to me) element is the cube actions.
What? "is the cube actions"??
What are you doing using "is" with a plural??
I'm doing that because "is" is meant to qualify the singular word, "element".
I made two cube actions -- a bad double and a correct take.
[Redoubling after taking was never a serious possibility].
The bad double was wrong by 0.073 (after rolling out) which is
quite significant. Furthermore, it was a very standard situation
and my instinct tells me that the Stick-type Giants would have
correctly held.

So my cube play could be assessed as 50/50 at best and
the stellar 2.9 PR seems totally undeserved.

Yes, I have saved the game.
