By the same token, the extermination of American natives by colonists
is quite literally the same thing many of the American natives wanted
to do to each other, only successful. I wrote that on alt.obituaries

I'm still wondering what your point is. I'm going to hazard a guess and
assume that you are saying that the removal of the North American native
population(s) is/was a Bad Thing. Is that correct?

On that assumption, I need to point out that it was all done in the name of
Christian religion, and that, on the assumptions inherent there, it was
entirely a good thing. If you assume that Christianity is true - which to
this day, most of the US public still does to this day - then both the
elimination of the native populations and slavery are not only justified,
but required.

Just do the math.

(And, no, just in case you're curious, I'm not endorsing any of this. I'm
pointing out how ridiculous religion - in all its forms - is.)
