'I'm so concerned about our children because there is an epidemic,
if you will, of mental health challenges,' Dr Vivek Murthy said

unveiling alarming figures that one in five young people report
experiencing depression

There's a chart showing that the number of kids sent to
shrinks have basically DOUBLED during 2021.

Yes, the "abnormal" environment IS making the kids go
nuts, no question. However you also have to take several
bigger pictures into account. An epidemic is an epidemic
and things HAVE to be done. Oh, and unlike in several
nasty places in the world, our kids are not having shells
falling on their neighborhoods, not walking hundreds of
miles as refugees, not starving to death, not the prey
of military rape-gangs. Our abnormal IS relatively mild
in the big scheme. Now if NK or China lob a bunch of
nukes over here, THEN ....

Yes, he is right. The Trump administration has been traumatic for the
children. He said covid-19 does not affect the kids as people were
dropping dead all over the place.

The only message that sends to the children is ‘they are not loved’. In
stronger terms ‘fuck you kids’. Trump felt covid was making him look bad
