They didn't even send him to the regular jail - straight
to the loonie bin ........

The 19 year old Sikh claims he was seeking revenge for
a massacre of Sikh's in India - in 1919 - by British
colonial forces.

Apparently he managed to use a rope ladder to breech the
fence at Windsor and was caught creeping around between
the buildings. The Queen WAS in residence.

He also carried a CROSSBOW.

Actually, something like a crossbow CAN be a threat.
Modern bulletproof glass and such is designed to
defeat bullets - light fast-moving objects. A heavy
slow pointy thing like an arrow might actually be
able to get through them under certain circumstances.

Anyway, they caught him. Why QE2 is responsible for
what happened under George-V is unclear ... except
to the addled mind apparently.

Shit ... what if the Queen had been murdered on Xmas
day ??? Can you IMAGINE the fallout ?
