Your agenda seems to be that a lot of (significant/famous) people are left
off of these lists. But, that ignores the point, which I mentioned in an
earlier post, that the list that gets posted to this Usenet group is a
(AFAICT) random subset of the real list which is on their website. So, it
is not surprising that some people that should be listed here (in the
subset list) aren't. In order to be accurate about your project, you'd
have to be comparing against the master list (at the website).

Anyway, the real surprise (given the date - which is now, as I'm typing
this - yesterday) is all the people who died in the various plane crashes
21 years ago. Though they themselves were not household names, they
certainly died famously.
