Every so often, there is a ranking of the "freest" US
states. The latest shows Florida and, surprisingly,
New Hampshire with near-perfect ratings. The WORST
is New York - with California nearly as bad.

"Freest" generally means that the govt doesn't
try to micro-manage your existence or impose
frivolous restrictions on your lifestyle.

Texas rates good - but not nearly as good as
FL and NH.

Georgia, TN, Ohio are also very good. The
supposedly "individualist" states of Montana
and Wyoming are more like Texas in terms
of freedom - OK, but not as good as it CAN be.

In a supposed "Land Of The Free", this stuff
COUNTS.
