OK,it was Lucy and Carly Simon who recorded music in the 1960s
as "The Simon Sisters",and Carly is still alive.

But when I saw two obits for Lucy say she was survived by Carly
and her husband and children,and I had not heard that Joanna had
died,I did a little digging and found out that yes,Joanna and Lucy
BOTH died of cancer on consecutive days this week (their father was
the Simon of Simon & Schuster,but all three sisters went into music
though Joanna later shifted gears from opera to real estate).

Joanna died of thyroid cancer on Wednesday,Lucy of breast cancer on Thursday.
If the article is correct that Joanna was 84,that clears up the Wikipedes'
