By then, Omicron itself will be in steep decline, BUT
there's a new BA.2 variant that is very much LIKE
Omicron and is currently expanding fast in Europe.
The new vax ought to help a lot with that.

Don't discount how the United States participated in the creation and
deployment of the virus. China might have leaked it, but Americans were
just as responsible.

I already have a solution for him and people like him.

1. A public tar-and-feathering.
2. A public exhibition in which tomatoes can be thrown onto Fauci by
members of the public.
3. A burning at the stake.
4. Exhibition of Fauci's charred corpse in the centre of Washington, DC
to remind everyone what happened to him and what will happen to others
who try the same thing.

All of them, in that order.

But will political forces derail it ?

Likely there are names involved there who are real
movers and shakers - $$$ industrialists and pols.
If they feel threatened, it STOPS. You'll have to

The WHO/CDC/USAMRID/Etc people involved in all
this "gain of (lethal) function" bullshit need
to be dragged away into a dungeon. The "science"
aspects of that stuff are minor compared to the
bio-war angles. If they'd been paying Kim to
build them some nuclear bombs I doubt any of
them would be walking free - much less still
setting policy.

We're currently seeing the consequences/expenses
of an unintended bio-war attack. The data and
perhaps starter-stock resulting from "gain of
(lethal) function" research make it WAY easy
to launch a intentional bio-war attack ... one
much worse than Covid. GO(L)F is a crime
