What’s called "science" today is often just left-wing advocacy.

It's why Stephen Crowder was able to hoax a taxpayer subsidized "science"
conference on 'fat acceptance'. He dressed like a woman, gave a presentation,
and got rave reviews for something he completely made up out of nothing.

That's how science worked in the Soviet Union too. One of the most
notorious examples of this was a guy named Lysenko, a crop scientist (a
peasant without formal training!), whose conclusions, based on two very
dubious studies that seemed to support the ideas held by Stalin, shaped
Soviet science in biology for decades under both Stalin and Kruschev,
setting it back by decades. Lysenko did not believe in DNA and
disparaged those who did; Western scientists were dismissed as
imperialists. Literally millions of people in the Soviet Union and China
DIED as a result of the adoption of his ludicrous policies. Thousands
were rounded up by the secret police for disputing his theories and many
of those died.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trofim_Lysenko

This fake science doesn't just waste money and undermine real science,
it actually has the potential to cost LIVES, potentially even millions
of lives, if something as ludicrous as Lysenkoism ever becomes
(temporarily) indisputable.

From its beginnings, science has occasionally housed pretenders, both
deliberate and inadvertent ...though pinning it on politics may be new.

So true. An example of "right wing advocacy" would be women forced to
die because they had ectopic pregnancies. Fuck you and drop dead you
anonymous piece of human garbage. You advocate killing Americans.

Not really. There will always be politicians/political factions preying
on ignorance. Hard to top the toxic stupidity of the MAGAs as a shining
example of course. "Donald Trump was brought to us by God!" Eunuch
Derp seems to find comfort in this stupidity for some reason.

Funny story from yesterday: I was in Beloit WI, a town right on the
border of IL. I was about turn right on a street because the people
turning left on the arrow had gone, or so I thought. Some shitbag
driving 20 over the speed limit sped through the left turn and turned in
front of me. I could see the guy screaming at me and/or snarling like
an animal. Apparently he was so fucking stupid he thought speeding gave
him the "right of way". As he drove down the street he'd turned onto
there it was: the name "Trump" in big block letters on his tailgate.
Stupid as the day is long.

Maybe he misspelled 'Progressive'.
