Alas the USA has a destructive habit of trying to paint foes
as weak idiots - and learns a bloody lesson shortly thereafter.

And what did we FIND ?

Well folks, the Russians have mass quantities of quality battle
gear, good strategists, are about the ultimate hard-asses and
have calculating savvy leaders who know how to keep the rest
of the world confused, guessing and divided.

So SKIP the bullshit this time. The Russians and Putin are very
formidable opponents and are not afraid of blood and guts and
bullshit "sanctions". Kill a million and the next million will
step right up and start shooting at you. Dealings with Russia
require CARE, INTELLIGENCE and SAVVY ... and our current admin
is severely lacking in all three.

Which does not bode well. Putin picked the perfect time to
start grabbing back the old Soviet empire. He may not stop
at Ukraine either. He HATES those uppity Baltic countries
and would love to grab a wedge of Poland to cut them off
from the rest of europe. The Serbs ... no problem, they will
again gravitate towards Russia all on their own. Bulgaria
and maybe Hungary won't be so eager - but ...

So welcome to the 21st century. Looks like it won't be the
west's century. Things got heavily re-aligned early in the
20th century and now it's happening again. Just for fun,
find maps of europe and asia from the 1890's and compare
them to the 1990s. BIG shifts. Borders all re-drawn, new
countries, dissappeared countries and empires .....
