Tonight's Monday Night Football contest pitting the Buffalo Bills on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals has been postponed. This decision was made about 45 minutes after the collapse of the Bills safety Hamlin following Hamlin's tackle of a Bengal.

An ambulance was summoned and actually drove out onto the field, rather than the usual practice with severe injuries where the hurt player is gurneyed off to a waiting ambulance.

Hamlin was administered CPR, and it's reported that Hamlin is now in critical condition at a local hospital.

The game--carried by ABC as well as ESPN, inasmuch as it's Week 17 of the 18-weeks-long (but only 17-game) 2022-23 NFL season--has been postponed, and it's unclear when the remaining three quarters-plus will be played out.
