Turkey can limit the crossing of Russian warships from the
Mediterranean to the Black Sea through its straits under
the Montreux Convention. Could it have an impact on Moscow's

The issue is not "CAN they", but "WOULD they". Likely
the answer is "WOULD not".

Ever since things got so weird in Turkey, Erdogan and
Putin have become *much* closer. NATO has been quite
concerned as to where Turkish loyalties lie now ...
and there have also been worries Erdogan is giving
Russia access to top-of-the-line western military
hardware, coding methods, strategic info and such.

When Ergogan went all police-state and quasi-Islamist
after the alleged coup attempt he alienated himself
with NATO/EU. He needed a new friend. That friends
name is Vladimir. HE understands .......

SO ... I'm gonna say THEY WON'T DO IT. The Russians
can hurt them ... but the main reason is because they
are in bed with Russia now.
