I'm sorry she only made it to 82, but here we go again with the dilution of of the term "legendary": The UK Mirror says after "One Million Years B.C" and "Fantastic Voyage", the late Welch became one of Hollywood's "most sought-after stars."

Well, perhaps...but if that isn't exaggerative after-demise hype, why did she end up making so few (at least major) films?

Above I was presuming that The Mirror's "sought-after" phraseology was referring to Welch's Hollywood star power, not how many would-be showbiz suitors were "after" sexual liaisons with her.

I realize I sound petty here--and surely I don't often quote Ted Kennedy--but what the youngest Kennedy brother so memorably said at the RFK funeral applies here: [His second assassinated brother] "need not be idealized, nor* enlarged in death beyond what he was in life."
