By his tactics, yea, that's where he's going. It's
pure medieval/Romaon tactics. Unrelenting bombardment,
seal them off. Those not blown to bits will starve
to death.

After the big cities, there will be Uki-Hunts all
through the countryside.

Conquered peoples have to be controlled. It's
expensive, troublesome - plus you have to share
the resources with them. Kill 'em ALL and it's
ALL yours.

The Ukrainians were convinced, most right up until
the last second, that they would not be invaded.
As such they didn't bother to stockpile FOOD.
That was a FATAL mistake. All reports now say
they are starving after only two weeks. Another
week or so and there will be nobody to resist.

Just flood the subways with CO2 (not a banned
gas) to clean up any stragglers.

Oh, and it's soon spring - time to sow the grain.
Well, that's not gonna happen this year. Grain
takes awhile to grow anyhow. NO local food and
even the western borders will soon be closed.

And Putin will just plow-under the bodies and
build New Kyiv on top - just like the old days.
Put up a big monument to himself in the main
square .........

And when he's done killing and re-colonizing
Ukraine - then what ? Maybe he'll get Belarus
to be "threatened" by the Baltic states .....

Alas there's only just SO much to do. The threat
of nuclear weapons - and an older Who-Give-A-Shit
Putin - make this as least as dangerous as the
worst of the Cold War days. Biden's puppeteers
DID make the sane call - no direct US/NATO
intervention. Just can't DO that. So, within
his sphere, Putin is a god - and a vengeful
god at that.

Throughout history, food will be looted by the defending and invading
armies. Armies need food to feed the soldiers.

Russia has already learned the lesson in the USSR days that keeping all
those ungrateful satellite states are nothing but headache. Even France
and Britain have given up colonialism. Russia is happily rolling in
dough just by selling oil and gas to Europe and the world.
