Having beaten my palate up enough with my questionable decision to visit
a Japanese Teriyaki fast food place yesterday, I decided to try out the
place I should have gone to yesterday.

Shake Shack!

When I went previously, the location had only been open for a few days.
It was outstanding in every way shape and form. So why did I go today?
Being a complete and utter coupon whore, they had a coupon for a BOGO on
their milk shakes. That and to piss off Jenny.

My last visit featured the SmokeShack burger (Angus beef cheeseburger
with applewood-smoked bacon, chopped cherry peppers, and ShackSauce on a
toasted potato bun (contains sesame, milk, wheat, egg, soy, and gluten)
and a strawberry milk shake.

So let's do it again with a free black and white milkshake for the wife.

The burger is still out of this world, the cherry peppers and ShackSauce
were a nice contrst and brought out the meat and seasonings.

The milkshake was even better than before, thick enough to need a spoon.

The second milkshake...we'll have to await the verdict after she returns
from shopping.

I'm giving it 10 out of 10 - slightly boosted due to the calamity that
was Sarkyu Japan yesterday. Otherwise 9.5.

A more relevant comment is that Jerry would say
Shake Shack is too expensive.

Whatever I had, not long ago, the burger part tasted good and
the bun was so small I thought it was bunless in the wrapper!

What I would prefer is whole wheat buns, but no burger joints
offer it! Same for Pizza, I feel cheated eating so-called
"enriched" flour!

The "cheese fries" were utterly miserable, with the
grossest fake cheddar cheese. Ketchup is better than fake cheese,
but ketchup wasn't enough to cover up the lousy taste.

Yeah. Shake Shack doesn't easily fit the definition of fast food.
An argument can be supported for fast casual.

That is a big burger.
What is that on top of the patty and cheese? It doesn't look like
bacon to me. Do they chop the bacon then mix it with the chopped
peppers and sauce?

It appears anything you have is bad. Odd.
