Stew Leonard's,the iconic grocery-with-a-touch-of-theme-park
chain,has announced the death of...Stew Leonard himself.

Born December 1st 1929,he died April 26th 2023,having worked
for his father's Clover Dairy Farm (later condemned for an
interstate highway interchange) as a milkman and then started
the stores with one in Norwalk (I became aware of them after
they opened one in Danbury).
