That's been the Ukrainian policy since day 1 and even if it weren't
it's sound since any Russian offer would be for less than their
"minimum demand".

I see Crimea being the sticking point though what Slelenskyy REALLY
wants is an approved application to either the EU, NATO or both.

He'd sign away Crimea in a heartbeat for fast track NATO membership.

As a practical matter, unless Putin is stopped, he'll invade again.
Treaty negotiations with Putin are meaningless.

Putin has disregarded every treaty, contract and any other form of promise or guarantee he ever gave.

As far as Zelenskyy’s attitude towards Krym, approximately last March, he was asked to describe scenarios for the future. He laid several possible solutions, including freezing Krym into a two state entity (3 really if you include Tatars). He suggested the status should continue for twenty years.

When there is territory in frozen status, the country cannot aspire to NATO until the status is resolved.

Btw, The Saudis have entered the building

Saudi Arabia will supply Ukraine with aid worth $400 million
