Is all of our oil special or is it just the oil the government owns? We sell a lot of oil and LNG or the world market. China has been buying about 7% of that. I'll bet the oil industry would put a quick stop to that nonsense if they were trying to stop all oil exports to China. "The US government has pocketed a roughly $4 billion windfall from sales of crude this year out of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

In the week ending December 9, the US released about 4.7 million barrels of crude, and the Energy Department has said it will conclude deliveries this month.
