"U.S. job growth powers ahead; unemployment rate at 3.4%"

"Nonfarm payrolls increase 517,000 in January

Unemployment rate at 3.4% compared to 3.5% in December

Average hourly earnings rise 0.3%; up 4.4% year-on-year

WASHINGTON, Feb 3 (Reuters) - U.S. job growth accelerated sharply in January while the unemployment rate hit a more than 53-1/2-year low of 3.4%, pointing to a persistently tight labor market, and a potential headache for Federal Reserve officials as they fight inflation.

The Labor Department's closely watched employment report on Friday also showed job creation in the past year was much stronger than previously estimated, suggesting the economy was nowhere near a recession. Though wage growth is slowing, it was growing much faster than previously estimated in recent months."

Have you not noticed all the help wanted signs and closed businesses?
Fast food joints that can only hire enough people to keep the dive-thrus
open? When people stop looking for work they are not counted in the
unemployment rate numbers. For a person smart enough to save $8.7 mil on
his electric bill you sure are economically ignorant.

It's more than one thing affecting these numbers, not the least of which
is the free covid money. But Biden's (or rather his handlers') policies
are more than just a minor contributor to the "suffering" you tend to
cast aside.

With all that suffering I don't know how you manage to survive. How does anyone survive without inside seating at every fast food joint all of the time? Why heck, a few months ago the DQ in Garibaldi stopped selling hamburgers for awhile because they didn't have enough people to cook them. It was terrible. I don't know how I made it out of there alive. We settled for shakes and somehow managed to find something to eat somewhere else.

Sounds like you're needing more immigrant workers, to make sure those gut bombs are served hot, & promptly? As Commiefornia goes, so goes the Nation....

A hitch in the get along of fast food is obviously a national emergency. We probably should send buses to the border to pick up immigrants and take them straight to the suffering fast food joints. Where else can we find workers for these marginal economic activities? Just about everyone who wants a job already has one. Our only other choice is to keep raising interest rates until enough people are suffering enough to take those jobs for what we're willing to pay.

As usual, your pea sized brain misses the point. You must REALLY like
