First, we shoot down an identified balloon at 60,000 ft.
Then we shoot down an unidentified object at 40,000 ft.
Now we're shooting down unidentified objects at 20,000 ft.

If we keep shooting down unidentified objects at lower and lower
altitudes, there is a unique possibility that we'll eventually shoot
down a cute little girl with a kitten that literally got tangled in a
party balloon string. At least identify the damthings before AIM-9ing
them.

Pretty soon, those Chinese devils will release hundreds, maybe thousands, of those balloons, to flutter across the country, at lower altitudes, giving the dirt pile shooting militia, their chance, to blast a balloon from the sky, and stray bullets will rain down, creating a bloodbath in neighborhood streets, from their wake.... Well, one of the dirtpilers won't be me - I used up all of my AIM-9's
on identified figeating possums.
