Daniel Fuller, who died June 21, 2023, aged 97, was an American theologian and professor of hermeneutics. Fuller was the son of radio evangelist Charles E. Fuller, co-founder of the Fuller Theological Seminary.

(Did they change it for the better or for worse?)

Just FYI (from Wikipedia):

Hermeneutics is the theory and methodology of interpretation, especially
the interpretation of biblical texts, wisdom literature, as well as
philosophical texts. As necessary, hermeneutics may include the art of
understanding and communication.

(which I joking define as "the art of seeing things that aren't there")

How is this distinct from theology? What the fuck is wisdom literature?

I'll just run out and get a Ph.D in that, shall I? Sounds like I can
write whatever I want in my dissertation, or just claim that it's been
written since you can see what's not there.
