It's the classic reason why socialism fails.
Sooner or later, the government runs out of money.

And for those who use the Nordic countries as examples of socialism succeeding, those countries are
not truly socialist but instead are more like "open market" style countries taking the good parts
of socialism and combining it with a free market capitalism model. For the smaller populations in
those countries the model seems to work reasonably well.

....and apparently he has resumed selling leases for oil and gas
drilling on federal land. It's an admission that it was a mistake to
shut it down. It won't help the Dems in November.
