He very well might be.
I'm an independent who votes both sides depending on the candidate but I like Ron DeSantis because
he makes the tough decisions, supports his constituents and does not cave to pressure from radical
left wing groups who support idiocy like CRT, WOKE, defund the police and so forth. It's the same
things I like about Trump but without the Trump carnival show.
So IOW he has common sense which is something lacking in many politicians.
Either Ron or Trump would be fine for me but I prefer Ron and I think he could pull out a massive
win especially seeing that the Democrats are failing with their misguided policy.

I like both DeSantis and Trump but I agree that Trump needs to tone it down a few notches.
He has to stop with the election steal stuff and focus on the disaster that is Joe Biden.
And he has far more material then he had in 2020 or 2016 (against Hillary).

Joe Biden and the Democrat's record so far is all he needs to focus on and he or DeSantis will be a
shoo in.
