Shanghai reported 39 Covid deaths Sunday, its highest daily
toll despite weeks of lockdowns, while China's capital
Beijing warned of a "grim" situation with rising infections.

zero-Covid policy, taking a heavy toll on businesses and

The cosmopolitan business hub of Shanghai has been almost
entirely locked down since the start of the month, snarling
supply chains, with many residents confined to their homes
for even longer as it became the epicentre of the outbreak.

You have no brain. If they really had started it 2019, they wouldn't
have been able to contain it just by locking down a few cities near
Wuhan. The virus had already existed in March, 2019 in Spain, and
September, 2019 in Italy. I suspected the virus was already spreading
even earlier than that in the US but the virus was dismissed as a bad
flu and covered up by Trump.

The COVID virus fragments were found in sewage water saved in March 2019
in Spain, and blood sample in September, 2019 in hospital patient in Italy.
