Rep. Alex Mooney is projected by the Associated Press as the
winner in the GOP congressional primary in West Virginia’s
2nd District in a battle with fellow Republican Rep.
David McKinley.

And while former President Donald Trump wasn’t on the
ballot, his prestige within the GOP was very much on the
line in a bitter contest between two incumbent lawmakers,
as Trump had endorsed Mooney.

"I Love West Virginia. Congratulations to Alex Mooney on
his BIG WIN!!!" Trump wrote on his social media platform,
Truth Social.

His opponent was backed by (dem) Joe Manchin - but Trump
didn't like that candidate, trusted Mooney to be more MAGA.

W.Virginians agreed.

Of interest - Mooney has NOT always been in-tune with
Trump. He didn't like The Wall or some of Trumps China
policies. Yet he still got the Trump blessing.

Which means McKinley must REALLY suck.

In a public interview segment the other day, FOX reporters
questioned some W.Virginians. Most agreed that McKinley was
a total RINO and strongly favored the more MAGA Mooney.
Trumps blessing supplied the extra impetus.

Hey, Manchin ... you're still not far ENOUGH right of
the Woke Disaster :-)
