Briefly and intermittently. The U.S. was a crude oil and petroleum products
importer for *most* of Trump's term. Then, near the end, it fluctuated between
net importer and net exporter.

Being a net exporter has nothing to do with the domestic price of gasoline.
Most of the crude oil the U.S. exports is crude that American refiners don't
want, because of its high sulfur content and inferior use for refining.

It is also worth noting that net imports were *already* falling long before
usurper Trump sleazed his way into office. Net imports were falling steadily
starting in 2005, and *throughout* the Obama administration.

The fact is, the price of gasoline is high and rising *globally*, and Joe Biden
did not cause that. The price of gasoline is closely tied to the price of oil,
but depends on other factors as well. It is worth noting that U.S. oil
*production* fell precipitously near the end of the usurper Trump's regime,
before rebounding *sharply* under President Joe Biden — *your* legitimately
elected and duly inaugurated president.
