Ok ... this IS weird shit.

The expansion rate OUGHT to be more consistent.

But it ain't.

Other factors, perhaps something as simple as our
observation techniques/position, may account for
this - but it MAY be that some deeper factors
about the structure of the universe are playing
a role.

They claim "deeper" space - ie parts that happen
to be further away from US - expand slower. This
stinks. "Deeper" depends on where you're observing
from. Way out in "deeper", do the brain-eating
aliens say OUR part of the universe is expanding
more slowly ?

Relativistic temporal lensing maybe ?
