Portuguese virologists, tasked with conducting Covid-like
studies to trace the virus's evolution, claim the strain
currently circulating is very similar to one that cropped
up in Britain four years ago.

But samples taken from a handful of patients struck down
in the fresh outbreak suggest the virus has collated an
extra 50 mutations.

Researchers wrote that this was 'far more than one would
expect considering the estimated substitution rate for
orthopoxviruses'. They also warned that an 'evolutionary
jump' — like with the Covid Omicron strain — may have created
a 'hyper-mutated virus'.

Meanwhile, the Danish manufacturer of the smallpox vaccine,
which is also effective against monkeypox, last year warned
outbreaks were becoming more frequent. It claimed it could
be down to the virus's 'genetic evolution'.

Hmmmm ... 'evolved' FAR more and FAR faster than expected ...

Smallpox is, theoretically, gone - but with a little
genetic TWEAKING monkeypox could become almost as
bad. Actually, I think the genetic sequence for
smallpox was published some time ago - so anyone
with a DNA machine (widespread, cheap) can splice
in smallpox bits to "help" monkeypox.

Now ... which countries STILL have smallpox vax ?
The USA hasn't for at least 30 years. Not sure
about the EU bloc. Any who still do it would be
in the best position to profit from spreading
the monkeypox. IS/ISIS wouldn't care if they
martyred themselves.

It was noted last week that the SPREAD didn't fit
the usual epidemiological pattern either - almost
like someone was intentionally seeding various
"crossroads" locations .....
