Years ago, I posted some tacky celebrity jokes; those postings were "flagged for abuse" or were subjected to the dynamic "Contents hidden."

What happened to these useful encomia?

Perhaps content might be hidden with HTML in a Web interface but that's
not possible to do when using a genuine News server (not Google Groups)
and newsreader client.
