Lilo, stage name of Liselotte Johanna Lewin (2 March 1921 – 26 September 2022), was a German-born French actress and singer.

A prolific stage and nightclub star in France, she is best known in America as the leading lady of Cole Porter's 1953 Broadway musical "Can-Can," in which she introduced two enduring Porter standards, "C'est Magnifique" and "I Love Paris."

She did one more show on Broadway - 1966's "Pousse-Café," starring opposite Theodore Bikel. The show had a score by Duke Ellington and was produced by Lilo's husband Guy de la Passardiere.

Her Playbill bio for that show proclaimed her "The first French female musical star on Broadway since Irene Bordoni."

She also did several roles on film, including the title role in the 1956 version of "Zaza." There had been five previous screen versions, including a 1938 version with Claudette Colbert in the title role and a 1923 version with Gloria Swanson.

She also appeared in two movies directed by Claude Lelouch: "La bonne année" (a.k.a. "Happy New Year," 1973) and "Toute une vie" (a.k.a. "And Now My Love," 1974).
